Justina Asishana is an award-winning Data/ Investigative Journalist. She's passionate about health, human interest issues, transparency, and accountability in governance. She has done several media organizations. Justina clinically deploys various ways of telling gender-balanced, human interest and investigative stories using solutions lens with an infusion of data in her reportage. Residing in a state where insecurity is rife, she's been doing conflict reporting, projecting incidences of insecurity and issues affecting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and communities affected by the insurgency. Governments and Legislatures have been using her investigative reports as points of reference given the ways topical issues are professionally reflected, which they view and use as advocacy tools to effect positive changes to affected people. Her hobbies are reading, writing, networking, listening to good music, exploring and mastering new digital and storytelling tools and travelling.
